When I became a pregnant, I was excited to have the opportunity to dress my new growing curves, however it quickly became apparent that the task was not an easy one, with an ever changing body and lack of options to make me feel confident and like myself. These challenges only grew as the pregnancy continued and as I transitioned into motherhood. Not just by the enormity of caring for a tiny human, but by the constant, quiet compromises I was making in how I felt about myself. As a fashion professional, I’d always taken pride in dressing with purpose and ease. But when I became pregnant and moved through the post-partum phase, I found myself facing a wardrobe full of clothes that didn’t work for who I was anymore with, a body that was in a constant state of change.

That’s where the idea for The Mama Set was born.

From Australia to Europe: The Story Behind The Mama Set

I’m originally from Australia with an Italian heritage, but life and love brought me to Europe, where I now live with my husband and our two daughters. The Mama Set began as a deeply personal project, an answer to a question I couldn’t stop asking myself: Why should becoming a mother mean letting go of your sense of self? I wanted to create something that supported women at every stage of motherhood, without asking them to compromise on confidence, comfort, or style.
