Care for Fine Merino Wool - Cotton

About our Knitwear

Premium Cotton blended with a Fine Merino Wool, meticulously handcrafted in Portugal.

The blend of high-quality wool and cotton fibres creates a superior performance: wool increases the softness, resilience and provides a resistance to creasing, and temperature control, whilst cotton enhances a 'cool' feeling and compliments the wool components delivering an ultra-soft touch on the skin.

Washing

Hand wash or on gentle cycle, with cold water.

Inside out, with like colours

Use a mild, wool specific detergent and avoid harsh chemicals or stain removers, which can affect the colour. To remove persistent stains, gently rub with soap and water before washing.

If hand-washing, soak for 5-10 minutes and rinse thoroughly, then roll in a clean towel and gently apply pressure to absorb excess water.

Pull gently to re-shape the garment and dry flat to preserve the fit.

Helpful Tips

Piling is a natural occurrence when wearing soft wool fibres and can gently be removed by hand using a piling comb.

Snagging can easily be resolved by gently pulling the loose yarn back inside the garment and tying it into a knot.
